"The best restaurant of our 5 days Rome trip. 20 days in Italy and this is one of our top few restaurants across the North of Italy. Alfonso is extremely helpful and he try to introduce us best drink to pair with my food. The apprentv is so good. Appetiser was to die for.. all the pasta were finely and tastefully executed. Highly recommend"

"I had the carbonara and focaccia there. The carbonara was simply good, but I’ve had much better many times before. If I had to point out an issue, it would be the bacon. Using proper guanciale would have made a noticeable difference, and the sauce was a bit too watery. With so many reviews and such a high rating, I was expecting perfection. That said, it was still tasty. Knowing what I know now, I wouldn’t queue for this place."

"We came here based on recommendation and this place lived up to the hype! Medina was our wonderful server who went above and beyond giving her favorites on the menu! We tried the most delicious food I’ve had in the city. If you’re looking for pizza, meatballs, tiramisu, and some excellent drinks. Give them a try you won’t regret it!"

"Found in the heart of Rome, Cantina e Cucina offered our family an absolute delight of a dinner that was surprisingly easy to walk into without a long wait for a table. The atmosphere was buzzing and vibrant, perfectly capturing the Roman spirit, but the true highlight was our server, Ophelie, who provided exceptional and attentive service throughout the night. We decided to order a variety of pasta dishes to share among the family, and every single plate was delicious, showcasing fresh ingredients and authentic flavors. Between the warm hospitality, the incredible food, and the hassle-free seating experienced, this restaurant is a fantastic choice for anyone visiting the city."

"We had a really enjoyable experience here. The food was genuinely delicious — fresh, nicely prepared, and full of flavor. The place itself feels cozy, clean, and welcoming, which made the whole meal even better. What stood out the most, though, was the staff: everyone was incredibly friendly, attentive, and polite without being over the top. It’s the kind of place where you instantly feel comfortable and well taken care of. I would definitely come back again, and I totally recommend it to anyone who wants good food and a relaxed, pleasant atmosphere."

"We dined there two times because the first time was so good. The carbonara is very nice, and the gnocchi were very great indeed. The flavor of the clams was discreet but on point. For the starters, the bruschetta and the focaccia bread were both tasty. On the first day, the tiramisu was absolutely delicious, the cream was incredibly smooth, and the ladyfingers were soft. The espresso flavor was perfectly balanced. A few days after our first visit, the tiramisu was unfortunately made with butter cookies, which were way too hard to achieve the creamy consistency I am looking for. I was confused, hence the first time they used the classical ladyfingers. Therefore, I have to remove one star. The waiters were friendly but always in a rush. The prices are very reasonable!"

"We had an amazing lunch. The amatricciana + cote de manzo were beautifully cooked. Service was very good and the place was cozy. Sweet treat with a fresh tiramisu and nice offer of wines and beers. A must in Rome! My only advise here is that the place keep toilets more clean and tidy. We almost left because of that, however the staff was very fast to address this problem."

"This was, without a doubt, the best restaurant we visited in Rome. The service is impeccable. They asked where we were from and we were assisted by someone who spoke our language — Vitória, who is also extremely kind. By the way, if possible, ask to be served by her. We ordered the lasagna, which was the best we’ve had in Europe; the spaghetti amatriciana was delicious, and the funghi pizza was light, soft, and very flavorful. For dessert, we tried the traditional coffee tiramisu for the first time and loved it. In short: excellent food, perfect service, and a very pleasant and comfortable atmosphere. 10/10."
